Places to visit when visiting Saigon
Today I will introduce people where young people SaiGon often come to hihi
This place is called Saigon's Street Coffee (cà phê bệt)
Street vendors set up stalls selling snacks and coffee, which students consume sitting on the grass: this is Cà Phê Bệt – literally ‘coffee on the flat ground’
The park is criss-crossed with concrete walkways through the grass and bisected by two of Saigon’s busiest roads – Lê Duẩn and Pasteur. They sit in groups – small and large – talking and laughing constantly, some playing acoustic guitars, others singing
At the centre of each group there’s an assortment of take-away food and drink: sweet Vietnamese iced coffee Vendors work busily on the sidewalk to keep up with demand
At the other end is Notre Dame Cathedral, built in the 19th century, during the early years of French colonial rule
Opposite the cathedral is Diamond Plaza, which is one of Saigon’s glitziest shopping malls, home to expensive brands such as Burberry and Rolex
This is Baked rice cake
Saigon is, noisy and noisy, but anyone who has come here to find a peaceful peace, and then will always give here as a homeland as simple feelings, from a cup of coffee on the sidewalk
