During my years in the military and the many places I visited, I would have to say Asia was my favorite spot.

Never have been to Vietnam, but was assigned to both South Korea and Okinawa Japan. The culture and simple life I have always admired.

It sounds as if you two are living the dream. Often thought of being an ex-patriot myself.
