Minecraft how-to part 1 - Honeycomb

A honeycomb is an item that can't be made with a crafting table or furnace in Minecraft. Instead, you must locate and collect this item within the game. In Survival mode, you can add a honeycomb to your inventory by finding a bee nest full of honey and collecting the honeycombs.

You must first locate a bee nest in your Minecraft world. The Plains, Flower Forest, and Sunflower Plains biomes are the most likely places to find a bee colony. The bee nest will be hung from either an oak or birch tree. After that, select your shears from the hotbar and place them in your hand.

The honey level in the bee nest will rise as more bees (carrying pollen) enter the nest. You'll see honey trickling from the apertures after the bee nest is full of honey. It's time to gather the honeycombs from the beehive with the shears. There will be three honeycombs that emerge from the beehive. Make a point of collecting the honeycombs before they vanish. The honeycombs will appear in your hotbar once you have picked them up. Honeycombs are a handy item to have on hand and should be stored in your inventory for later usage.
