Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild What to do after Ganon

*Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild *. What a game, huh? You might be thinking ."yeah, but... I done did it!" Well, not quite.

For people who beat the game and didn't know what to do next, here’s some stuff you can do after Calamity Ganon (Mostly Spoiler Free!)

Koroks

So, I know, I know. “Koroks? Bro, I love this game, but I ain’t gonna do 900 Koroks!”
And I understand. I only got sixity before Ganon, but, well… there’s 900 Koroks. If you thought Shrines were plentiful, just imagine how many Koroks they’ll be before you hit a brick wall. And yes, the brick walk might be hard to get around, but who said you have to do all 900? Either way, you just need about 450 to max out all your stashes! Shrines

So, tell me. How many Shrines did you do? You might not be inclined to do them all like me (I did 116 after doing only one Divine Beast) but, depending on many you did, you should really try and do more. Shrines were, while they got a little grindy in the last 10 and I had to look up some locations, incredibly fun. Even if you don’t intend to do all 120, at least do a couple more than you’ve done.

Bosses

So, people have very mixed opinions on the over world bosses in this game. I personally love them. And, if you’ve beaten Ganon (who says this game doesn’t have a post game) and talk to monster fanatic Kilton, he’ll ask you to try and make all the big boss monsters in Hyrule go extinct. I guess he’s so much of a fan he wants to kill them. So, that means 40 Hinoxs, 40 Stone Taluses, and 4 Molduga. We suggest you do the Molduga first.

Live to Dye

While doing some of these, why don’t you wear extravagant outfits? No, not the barbarian outfit! Maybe make your own outfit and name it after yourself? Hyrule Compendium

So, I know this’ll sound boring. There’s several things you might say, like “That isn’t fun” “what are the rewards” or even, “I didn’t take picture of the one time bosses…”
However, if you don’t like the actual busy work of exploring the world of Hyrule, you might instead have about a billion rupees. If you do in fact have this amount, consider spending it on photos from Symin, as it’ll fill the Compendium for you. As for the Bosses, an Elite Enemy category shows up after you defeat Ganon (post game only!)
and you can buy the pictures of the bosses through there.

Upgrade and get your Armor

Now, this might sound a trivial task, but it important. Look at your interview. Do you see that perhaps the Zora armor is at 5 or 8 defense? Or maybe you never got around to upgrading the Barbarian set? It’s incredibly fun to have a reason to just out into the land of Hyrule and collect some things! Not to mention, there’s probably still a few sets floating around you don’t got yet! Rupees

Mine some ore. You never know, maybe Zelda will need her shoe collection back after Ganon destroyed it.

Cooking

Maybe Zelda will turn out to be a feminist and you’ll need to cook. But in all seriousness, cooking is great as there’s tons of different things you can make to help you on your adventures. Finding yourself with 100+ Hylian Shrooms? It’s about time to start cookin’!

Side Quests

Now, don’t lie! You still got tons of these left! After beating the game, it will tell you how many you’ve done, and how many you need to do. We bet you still have at least 20 left!

And now, you probably just moaned and groaned as you realized you have more to do in * Breath of the Wild *. But in the deepest confines of your soul, you are… happy.
