Greg Noll (grey sweatshirt) shapes 3 wood surfboards with the input of Lorrin "Whitey" Harrison (Arctic Cap, palm frond hat), John "Doc" Ball (original Palos Verdes Surf Club sweatshirt) and Leroy "Granny" Grannis (white bucket style hat). These are representations of the boards each of them rode in the 1930's. This is a portion of the first episode of the short lived television show "surf!" from 1991. Still photos and black and white movie courtesy John "Doc" Ball. 8 hours of footage from two cameras over a 3 day period whittled down to 10 minutes.
