RE: [Video Blog #50] - 3 Million Crypto Users & Some Milestones

in #video7 years ago

It has been around since 2012, almost 5 years and still strong. It's not a glitzy pump coin. It serves a purpose. It was the first competitor to Bitcoin to significantly change the network design (even litecoin didn't do that originally)

Peercoin has been forked so many times, we've lost count. It has a steady community. Was a completely fair launch (announced 9 days before mining began, and even then, the code was released so people could download it, and mining didn't start until 5 minutes after that)

That doesn't tell you about the features. I've posted some of them on my first blog post today. Peercoin is one of those things that the more you dig the better features you find.

The only reason it isn't noticed more, is because there was no ICO, no pre mine to market the hell out of it. It's solid technology that can stlll do a whole lot and people are starting to wake up to it.

November last year it was 46 cents. Today it's near $2. That's a big jump "per coin" in such a short time.

Thanks for the info. I will have a look at it for sure. So many to research. :)
