On this ocassion, simply doing a quick test through the unique Pull From Youtube option only available on Viewly. Bringing out to the surface of steemit an original video edit from my own creation which I made a few years ago.
Note: Apparently, the SignUp Page and Authentication process starts only after you've uploaded your video and/or after you've chosen the Pull From Youtube option like I did with this test.**
¡Yes! this videoclip also was created as a long due Homage. A proper homage for a great band & superb kickass song. One song so powerful, inspiring and rebellious that, for that time, I couldn't help but immediately look out how the heck I could pull out of my magic hat the strongest live footage & imagery, jointly with my skills as an audiovisual editor, to cook a well deserved video for this song. A proper videoclip, which curiously no one ever tried to do for this song before.
So, I've decided to pick this one for the test with View.ly.
And now, trying to also test the results of the markdown code thing, on this platform, same as I did with My test on Dtube before. Next, I'm gonna add a bit of tedious text to read also. :p

Yep, following your instructions to edit the links embedded into the markdown code of the post, in order to play the video, seems to do the trick and everything is working quite well now.
Take note, that you also must remove and get rid of the «span class="viewly_preview"></span» html code that Viewly adds there too. (Looks like that bit of html code is presumably the one which would allow play the video from within the steemit GUI too)

Cool! if you just knew how many music software tools I've used besides your beloved Cubase before. You'd be amazed. From the early so called MOD trackers, all kind of sequencers, analog, digital and virtual synths and... Well, you name it!! Cool! I work with vst instruments, mostly with Native Instruments. There are awesome software tools but nothing without proper studio equipment ;)
That's right mate. At that time, I also had a good bunch of proper studio equipments. Among a few, a Yamaha TX-7 with 6 modules, the venerable Oberheim Xpander and the first Akai Sampler. And all the necessary bells & whistles. Haha, with plenty HW & SW tools running on PCs also, along with a Roland MSQ-700 and the actual HW TB-303, TR-808 & TR-909 that shortly afterwards I sold and replaced them with the products of Propellerhead Software. :)
