Lithuanians do a cassette audioplayer
The BrainMonk company from Lithuania works on creation of an Elbow player which is intended for work with audio cassettes. The device looks as a clip which clings on the cartridge. The player is able not only to reproduce records, but also to rewind a film. Management happens through a washer by means of which it is possible to start or stop playing, to begin rewind and to regulate loudness.
The player has interfaces 3,5 of mm and mini-USB for charging. It seems that developers decided to hit in classics also here, having delivered the old USB connector instead of more modern micro-USB and USB-C. The project got in 2016 an award for design at the Lithuanian competition. At the moment it is a concept, periods of appearance of the final version aren't reported.
