This is a full-size replica of the Froelich traction engine 1937 manufactured in Waterloo Iowa known simply as the frolic and the only one known to exist.
John Deere Model "D" was built in 1924 who is manufactured in Waterloo, Iowa. Serial number is three zero six one eight the horsepower is twenty two point five three at the drawbar thirty point for belt horsepower the owner is Jake and Sharon of Orange City, Iowa.
Produce from 1923 to 1953 the model "D" experienced the longest production run of any John Deere tractor it was widely popular across the country and exported to South America, and Russia. The Waterloo factory produced about 160,000 Model "D" tractors this tractor is one of the earliest productions John Deere Model "D" tractors remaining originally shipped to Portland Oregon Jake purchased this tractor for his private collection in 1989 unlike many tractors used in the Midwest this one probably spent most of its life working in the timberlands and perhaps even powering a sawmill.
