My cinematography showreel shot on canon 5D
Every year i have a habit of putting some scenes together into a showreel, however last year i didn't do much video work as i was still getting to grips with my new camera the URSA Mini which shoots in raw and has pretty much all the bells and whistles. Only drawback is i'm not used to carrying a camera so big around but that's something i'll just have to live with.
Ive started working on this years showreel already and it's going to be in 4K.
Here is an older showreel i put together, its in black and white as i shot all of this on a canon 5D mk3 and colour grading DSLR footage is a pain especially when matching different shoots together so i ended up making this black and white. My next showreel will be in colour as the camera i'm shooting on now shoots in pro res 444 so i can pretty much grade the hell out of anything now.
Here is to another year full of filming :)

Also @allasyummyfood, @stephenkendal, @anarcotech & I will present. The event doors open at 09.30am and the Steem Project presentations start at 10.15am and finish at 11.30am.
There will be loads of cool steemians including some graffiti artists at our stand at the event all day where there will be presentations on the hour until 16.00. The after party starts at 17.00 at the Novotel Hammersmith.

I was actually looking forward to going to this but my best friends wedding is on the same day 😩 however my friend @mynewlife is still going and will also be filming at the show

If you fancy coming down for a drink after the event (in case you are not too drunk from wedding), or event meeting up the night after, that would be cool!
Yeah he’s the guy who introduced me to steemit and thanks I’m hoping to put up more Video work but completely out of ideas at the moment need cool stuff to shoot that’s why I was kind of gutted I couldn’t make it to the show. Would of loved to shoot a documentary there.
And count me down I’ll be there the next day after the wedding :) its only an hour away from London
