Dont forget to also upvote good comments - in the end the plattform flourishes if many people have sufficient voting power, if only the big content creators vote count they wont make much except through each other. Also, comments which received upvotes from the people with voting power are displayed first.Right now, people who signed up via steemit.com seem to give ~a third of a cent judging from me just upvoting your comment. And we have 0.5SP plus 14.5 delegated steem power. That delegated power lasts for a limited time (i think 90 days but im not sure) and you can calculate how little our votes will matter once thats gone...
That's a damn good point. The danger of a site like this is when everybody just has to suck up to like 10 different people to make any money...I actually feel like there is a really interesting political implication in there about income inequality.
