Well, personally I think it is, although I do not earn with it, but I'm aware that racing games are probably not that fascinating for many as they are to me. So, obviously some good ideas, inspiration and talent are necessary. And to have a 'face' to show to the public.
Also, votings are money earned here, but voting is only possible for 7 days in case of posted videos. When you are planning to blog, the number of days the blog can be voted for depends on the frequency of answers to the blog, usually it is 2 days (or a few more sometimes). Interestingly, videos can sometimes not be watched anymore after a few weeks, but I assume this is not fully developped yet.
The rule of thumb is: If your topics are greatly asked for and you are talented, you can earn money. If you don't give up easily and stay posting on a regular basis, it is also possible to make a good living with steemit.com and d.tube. So this mostly depends on you and what you create. The more fun you have, the more fun your viewers/readers should have.
There are lots of videos and blog postings available with descriptions and tutorials how to use the platform.
But one thing is for sure: You definitely don't loose anything registering and creating an account. Respect the three most important rules: Don't loose your password, don't loose your password and don't loose you password, it cannot be recovered!
Enjoy! Qapla'!

Thank you so much.. It will definitely help me

Thanks brother.. I am waiting for several improvements in DTube

Oh, there's more to consider:

  • Don't ever use copyrighted material (music, film, even news reports) without written consent, this can be very expensive.
  • Nothing can be deleted (but maybe hidden, kind of), every edit can be seen.
  • Videos are stored on the interplanetary file system (IPFS.io), there's no delete method available for IPFS (yet, but maybe never will).
  • After a few days, posts can not even be edited anymore.
  • After all, a blockchain is used (you know, immutible, eventually consistent, purely distributed peer-to-peer system etc.)
  • You can of course publish your own material on other platforms too.
Hope this helped you to decide.

Disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer nor an expert nor an advisor in this regards, so this is my own opinion and not legal advice whatsoever.

... and not even the answer is editable, but the "IPFS" belongs between the brackets (the ones them seem to be left and lost).
