Lighting the woodstove.
Snow is forecast here this evening and the rest of the week, so im lighting the woodstove in the room that I am working in.
I am preparing the fire for another vlog I am going to do later on this evening which is a book review.
The fire is a Prity make which is popular in Bulgaria, I have five fires in total two downstairs, two upstairs and one in the summer kitchen.
A lot of Bulgaria currently relies on woodburning, because it does not have the option of Gas Central Heating. There is no piped gas to the villages but you can get central heating using wood pellets, this is a much more expensive system to use.
I hope you enjoy the video how do you keep your home warm let me know.
Thanks for watching.
I am running a contest, to be in with a chance to win 10 SBD click here for more info.

if you have a botle of wine...
I have 70 Litres of home made.
LOL - WTF man....haha
Never seen anyone light their woodstove with a blow torch!
I have one which is a similar size to yours... I light mine by placing a single layer of coal on the bottom, then with some birch bark, then put thumb size sticks in and then bigger logs... Wood i find gets the whole flue pipe and the stove red hot, as apposed to coal wich doesnt get the flue THAT hot.
Most of bulgaria relies on wood for burning and wood is so cheap here the flue's are fairly big and get cleaned every six months. Its weird the flu is in the wall they call connect so every room has a flue outlet. And the back part of the house is where you clean them. It does get hot but when its -21 you don't want to complain.
How interesting I never knew that about Bulgaria. So thank you..I lived in a home for 10 years..living with a woodstove as my only heat..there is a beautiful ritual to it...that I miss dearly
I agree it is simply incomparable the power of a wood burning fire especially during winter time like right now when its dark and dreary outside.
That said I am looking forward to the spring.
