I can't decide if this is scientifically impressive or just disturbing. The apples in the supermarket in the U.S. can be up to a year old? Probably mostly disturbing. Every apple is going to seem like a creepy highly preserved Hollywood octogenarian to me now. But, I definitely do appreciate the pro-tip about the bagged apples being lower quality but more expensive.
