YOUTUBE SHUTTING DOWN SMALL CREATORS - DTUBE IS THE WAY!
As some of you might have heard about the shocking news on Youtube. They are trying to change their rules and platform in order for bigger creators to benefit. I dont think it affects me in any way, as I dont make much money on youtube and I am not a small creator but I am also not a huge one. Up to this date, i still only make under 200 dollars a month!!!! and that is pretty much full time work! So the news is that you have new regulations now to be able to monetise your content.
That is why I am telling everone now FORGET YOUTUBE - you missed out and even I missed out!!! but dtube IS THE FUTURE!!! All creators should start using DTUBE!!!

Starting today we’re changing the eligibility requirement for monetization to 4,000 hours of watchtime within the past 12 months and 1,000 subscribers. We’ve arrived at these new thresholds after thorough analysis and conversations with creators like you. They will allow us to significantly improve our ability to identify creators who contribute positively to the community and help drive more ad revenue to them (and away from bad actors). These higher standards will also help us prevent potentially inappropriate videos from monetizing which can hurt revenue for everyone.
On February 20th, 2018, we’ll also implement this threshold across existing channels on the platform, to allow for a 30 day grace period. On that date, channels with fewer than 1,000 subs or 4,000 watch hours will no longer be able to earn money on YouTube. When they reach 1,000 subs and 4,000 watch hours they will be automatically re-evaluated under strict criteria to ensure they comply with our policies. New channels will need to apply, and their application will be evaluated when they hit these milestones.

Creators large and small, established and emerging, transformed their talent and originality into videos that captivated over a billion people around the world. They made us laugh, taught us about our world and warmed our hearts. We’re confident the steps we’re taking today will help protect and grow our inspiring community well into the future.

This arrogance by Youtube could be a BIG boost to STEEM tokens!
Good Riddance to Was-tube! We will all be better off with out their censorship and trending algorithms trying to control our thought. It is my hope and dream that technology will someday allow us have our own network, no internet provider, no government backdoor, no spying, no monthly bill. Necessity is the mother of invention, the more they mess with us the more we will progress without them. Cheers!!
Who cares anymore for youtube ? It sounds so '00 to me ! Just let them be , Dtube is the way !
It's a shame, but people started using youtube because it gave user created content a voice and an opportunity to create revenue. If that revenue is gone, then people will simply move elsewhere. DTube is a great platform alternative and backed by steem, I think it will go from strength to strength.
Maybe now is a good time to buy some short contracts on Google.inc.

This practice of YouTube will discourage many small and good content creator from posting on YouTube. I think maybe YouTube is only thinking about how to make more profit than encouraging new creator to post good videos.
I also agree with you Dtube is the future and all the vlog creator should focus on it.
On steem platform you can have anything: youtube, facebook, instagram and very soon there will be other alternatives.

Hey, Thanks for the video, Yeah i got that email and was like :l Its just a bigger reason to switch over to Dtube, Steemit, and Steepshot .. Its alot more rewarding and appreciative for the content Creators provide. Built on blockchain tech. Its definitelyThe Future of Social Media. It also causes people to value their posts, comments more than before seeing Quality and insightful/desired material will Be compensated by the community. Awesome!
