Have to agree that some who have only an MMA background lack a solid foundation. I'm glad I learned traditional Muay Thai before MMA was popular [that sounds douchie], or I may not have the foundation that I have now. Interesting post man!

    I agree, I having trained in Muay Thai Myself. Thai fighters drill and drill there foundation. I love Muay Thai and great place to start.
