RE: Minnow Motivation ๐๐๐: Engage with your Readers to Grow your Audience
yes its good to manually curate! Upvoting gains you followers in an organic process and manual curation can be profitable too! when you have a lot of steempower you end up making good profit off curation, so much more than new users would ever assume! new users have no idea what curation even means! very few have any way to understand how curation even works until they see it first hand!
so its very important we have users like you on steemit everyday all day upvoting manually because if people just auto upvote we end up with a bunch of low quality content getting upvoted! So its nice that we have manual curation!
people have a lot of misconceptions about steemit and soon the slate will be wiped clean! steemit is now just being gossiped about by a small group who dont know what theyre talking about! i see so many youtube videos where people mention steemit and the top comment on youtube is just some shit talk about ho steemit is controlled by a small few
its really not fair at all, but whatever, people want to make these same claims over and over like game of telephone, people dont like steemit because they dont make enough money but are jealous when others make good money! if THEY make a lot of ,money on a simple post they love it but when they se someone else making "too much" money off a post they make it out to be some fundamental problem with steemit because someone made $100 off a few photos of some flowers lol
People will start to RUSH to steemit when the official steemit app is released!
Ya that is because the people who have large audience will naturally make more money than the ones who don't. I do agree that is a bit unfair , but if you look closely the people with great audience have put in that much efforts to create that audience or at least invested in the community. One thing I wan to ask when is the official app coming and will the rules of the official app be different?
There is not much information about that but it should come within the next few months. I doubt that the rules will be different.
If you see dan's wallet he powering down completely, why do you think he is doing so.
He probably want to use some of it for whatever. And he worked hard for it and is not even part of Steemit.inc anymore. So when he cashes out the price will sink. But that doesn't matter when the floodgates open and the masses stream in. :)
Is he not the creator of steemit ?
He left Steemit last year and does now EOS. The co-founder @ned is running the show.
But that is causing a real problem, he had created the money from thin air know he is leaving just after a year even before the platform is established completely , I mean it is still in beta version. This is causing the price to drop.
This is totally old news and happened nearly a year ago. Nobody cares about that anymore. He helped to build up the Steem blockchain and did a great job. He left for differences in his vision of a perfect blockchain which Steem isn't in his opinion. He want much more flexibility and that's more or less why he created EOS. Many people here think he is doing a good job.
