Vintage Style!

My latest handmade vintage lampshade in hand-dyed silk. For this lampshade, I hand-dyed the silk underlayment as well as an antique beaded silk textile. The sparkling gold bugle beads glow majestically when lit, and they are sewn by hand to the lampshade for security and quality.

This was such a fun custom project for a customer. I can't wait to make more Victorian lampshades in this shape. It is truly one of my favorites to sew.
