These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Thoughts on today's verse
Every day starts with God. Let every breath you take be a powerful reminder that God has granted you another day. Let every heartbeat be God's drumbeat of love, reminding you that you are blessed with another minute to offer him your best. Remember this blessing, whish is so easily forgotten. Let's also try find teachable moments to explain our faith in our daily life.

Prayer
Almighty God, Thank you for this breath I take and for the heartbeat that sustains my life. Make me aware as I travel and talk and rest and work that you are there and are worthy of my intentional best. The name of Jesus, my gracious sacrifice I pray. Amen.
