I read an article stated that DarkWeb often use Monero, Zcash and Bitcoin as a payment method. But as we know none of this coin is as private as Verge (XVG).

Monero operates in public ledger and that's why the reason why they shut it down.
But with Verge is different, users can choose between a public or private ledger.
