Hello friends of STEEMIT the unstable situation of Venezuela has no pause the Venezuelan government is attacking its opponents inside the Bolivarian Naval Armed Forces.

Before the elections of May 20 and the days following the election day several arrests were made in the barracks, the persecution has intensified, the number of detainees rises to 40 in different parts of the country, On Wednesday, May 16, officials of the Military Counterintelligence General Directorate (Dgcim) apprehended 12 members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) with the rank of frigate lieutenant. Three days later, 20 more soldiers were arrested and another six were arrested on Monday, May 21.

Maduro does not stop with sanctions, on Tuesday, May 22, the military justice dictated preventive measure of freedom for 11 officers of the FANB (Bolivarian National Armed Forces.

The detained officers are denied the right to hire a private defense attorney because they were appointed by public defenders for their processes through their own powers.

Eight detained officers who have been identified by strong restrictions of government information are the following:
Fragata Lieutenant Gustavo Enrique Carrero Angarita.
Navy Lieutenant Ángel José Acosta Pérez.
Captain Corvette Carlos Gustavo Macsotay Rauseo.
Frigate Lieutenant Argenis David Rodríguez Corona.
Lieutenant of Frigate Elías José Noriega Manrique.
Lieutenant Colonel Ruperto Molina.
Lieutenant of the ship Raúl Eduardo Díaz Casado.
Lieutenant of Ship Antonio Julio Scola Lugo.

Part of them belong to the group of Special Forces called UOPE, this command group assigned to the Venezuelan Navy and Aviation. They are all held at the headquarters of the DGCIM (Directorate General of Military Intelligence) until they are assigned a detention center by the Control Judge, Major Claudia Carolina Perez de Mogollo. That as we can expect must be another Judge who obeys and is part of the prevailing corruption in the judicial system.

The prequalified crimes imputed to them are:

  • Treason to the Fatherland.
  • Instigation to Motin.
  • Crimes against the Military Decor.

These officers will become part of the list of political prisoners in the country, list that is not close to finish because President Nicolas Maduros with only 3 days of being illegitimately re-elected in office continues with his policy of placing every citizen in prison that is against his narco-state and against his interests.

Gentlemen, this is something that has been happening, very often there are the cases of officers and sergeants learned in the month of March. On March 10, the most recent case of apprehended soldiers was reported, who were deprived of their liberty by the 3rd Military Control Court of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas for crimes against military decorum, treason against the fatherland and instigation of rebellion: six lieutenant colonels, a first lieutenant and two sergeants belonging to the 1999 Army promotion.

Also highlighted among the arrests of uniformed officers is the former Minister for Internal Affairs, Justice and Peace, Miguel Rodríguez Torres, who holds the rank of Major General of the Army. He was apprehended on March 13 in Caracas by members of the body he managed for more than 10 years: the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin).

Venezuela continues to suffer the consequences of a nefarious government whose only interests are the people who run it. Where will all this stop? What will be its end? Many questions and few answers.
