RE: Deeply concerned about the state of things
It can be so easy for us to turn a blind eye, not only to poverty and hunger, but to oppressive governments. I applaud you for using steemit as a form of activism and reminding us what really matters. At the end of the day, people are what matters most--not the internet, money, nor power. We all need to stick together and support each other regardless of what country we're from. Thank you for posting this.
This is just not how we are supposed to treat each other, how can you confiscate food and medicine?
How do we know this isn't a test to see if the world will react? How do we know we aren't next? Thanks for the kind words :)
So many governments profit off the fact that people don't react. So many wealthy people in power don't understand poverty, not having food, not having healthcare and we spend more time making those people richer and the poor poorer. We all need to stand up to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone and not separate ourselves.
you're welcome, keep writing about this :)
