Venezuela in the dark with the light it needs, its people.

in #venezuela6 years ago (edited)

A few weeks ago, something maybe unimaginable happened, more than 100 hours without electric service. A situation that led many to despair, disappointment, frustration, anger, sadness, but allowed us to observe that beyond having no external light, a lot of light emerged from our hearts. Many neighbors organized to deal with this situation.

From my field of action, I was able to donate water, bring people to their homes and even provide lodging for close friends.

If you are Venezuelan and you are reading this, what could you do? If you are a foreigner, what do you think you could have done?

We realized that if we can build a collaborative, supportive society that helps others without affecting their own well-being.

It has been less than a month and history is repeated, many cities of the country do not have electric service.

How can I do to colaborate:

  1. Help the other.
  2. I'm not play with people needs, remember that it can be bread for today and hunger for tomorrow
  3. We are brothers do not forget it, I dont wanna to be like who criticizes and continues marginalizing our well-being.
  4. I kept the family of my friends informed.

Give a better example that serves the future that we hope so much and that we must build from now.
