IDK if energy is subsidized by the government in Venezuela.
If it is, then it is a theft of energy.
Venezuela is not a part of the NWO, and this is why it pays a price.
What offense did it commit against TPTSB?
They don't give the big corporation the access they demand to exploit the country's resources and people. And Chavez used to give weekly speeches on TV calling out the crimes of the different arms of the western empire. With the USA and Israel getting the most attention. And calling Bush all kind of insulting names.
@fersher, that is not theft since they don't have any other source of energy instead of the government.
However the price is very low, but they pay for that.
Almost the same thing is happening in Nepal. The government is arresting people for merely trading. They also seized a Bitcoin minor's house and took over all hardware. The government here believes that only black money launderers trade in Bitcoins.

Hate to say it but, so long as bitcoin uses a hare-brained mining scheme which actually is hugely wastefully of energy, I can understand governments being pissed over such energy wastage...

That is very sad, since the government took a non democratic decision like that.

Is not a waste of energy, if you are using that for mining to eat.
It's all theoretical until you're faced with eating rats for breakfast, lunch AND dinner.

@kamalklbd the problem is that the Government of Venezuela loses control when you mining... That is why they are against the cryptocurrency.
