Bass&Cuatro Dúo. Periquera.
Periquera is one of the multiples types of rythms of Venezuela. Specifically, is one of the forms of a rythm called "Joropo". It´s a very intense and full of energy piece, in a mayor mode.
In this version, we merge the Periquera with another type of Joropo that is called "Seis por Derecho", doing a rythmn change from 3/4 to 6/8. Seis por Derecho is faster, and in this part we improvised over the harmony, making this concert an unique moment to enjoy!
Periquera es uno de los muchos tipos de ritmos de Venezuela. Específicamente, es una de las formas de un ritmo llamado "Joropo". Es una pieza muy intensa y con mucha energía, en modo mayor.
En esta versión, mezclamos la Periquera con otro tipo de Joropo llamado "Seis por Derecho", haciendo un cambio rítmico de 3/4 a 6/8. Seis por Derecho es más rápida y en esta parte improvisamos sobre la armonía, haciendo este concierto un momento único para disfrutar!
