Being an immigrant means:

I am still asked by friends who are close to leave Venezuela and some who have less time than me outside of the country. "How has this Migration process been?" I do not even understand it myself, it's a strange process, a process that makes you feel in an ups and downs of emotions. It's like having the house you never had in your country but you have no one to visit you, it's like having a TV that barely fits on the table and nobody to see a game between Caracas Magallanes, is to have the car of the year And not knowing the name of the streets where you live and that is always parked, is to have all the clothes of the world brand and have it under tons of sweaters and blankets for the cold. It's having all the liquor you want and nobody to get drunk with and with whom to sing until dawn. It's living in a place where you have no neighbors, where you do not listen to music. It is Feeling that you do not fit into any work maybe because you feel more intelligent than the rest or because you are very rough for others ¿who know?. As I always tell my closest friends with whom I still have contact, Venezuela is shocked as "George Harris" says, but put up with everything you can before leaving, the depression that feels away from home, far from everything and of all is not easy at all. It's something that oppresses your chest maybe for everyone it's not the same but believe me it's really hard.

Leaving Venezuela is not only leaving your family and your assets, no, it is literally making a Hard Reset to your life. You will miss everything to the minimum of your old life, your neighbors, your old bed, look out your window and see the neighborhoods in the background, be on the subway and be greeted by at least 10 people (just like when they said you look like a mayor ).

I wish with every cell of my being that the oppressive government that Venezuela has will fall very soon. Nothing like our climate, our people, our family and friends.
