How much does it cost the university in Venezuela?

Hello dear friends of steemit!

Well... As we all know universities should be really expensive, here in Venezuela we have two kinds of universities: public ones (They are totally free) and private ones (You have to pay them) so here we are going to be talking about, exclusively, about the privates universities in Venezuela and how much do they cost.

The Central University of Venezuela is the most important university of Venezuela and also the biggest one. It is public

First of all, it is important to clear that as everything in my country, the quality of the education is worse everyday, private universities do not escape from the problems due to the crisis, most of them have to affront the lack of academic personel 'cause they are leaving the country, this means that the quality of proffesors is worse and even some subjects in most universities don't have any, so you basically don't study everything you need to in order to graduate in a normal way.

But here today we are talking about the prices of the university and what problems represent to the students (Like me) in search of graduating in the country I love so much. I'll start talking about my own experience studying right now for 2 years in a private university: La Católica (Catholic University Andrés Bello in englis and its full name). First I'll say I totally love my university but nowadays (For me as a venezuelan) is really expensive, the semester is around 12 million of bolívares, which are like 50 dollars... WAIT, 50 DOLLARS FOR AN ENTIRE SEMESTER, yes! It could be like little less of 100$ the year Someone reading this is packing their bags to study here, but if you make 3 dollars with minimum wage you can imagine how fucking expensive university here is. In my opinion and objectively (See QS raking of universities in Venezuela), La Católica is the best private university in Venezuela, followed by the Metropolitan University which is the most expensive one with like 30 millions of bolívares the trimester (The year is around 300$).

La Católica has the best universitarian library in Latin America, being opened in 2013

I admit that the Catholic University is one of the most expensive universities, but even if we look to cheaper ones like de University Arturo Michelena in the cituy of Valencia the semester is around 5 millions of bolívares... With that fucking minimum wage is a lot too, and is even more expensive if you want to buy food or pay a residence to live in, something practically impossible here in Venezuela.

Venezuela has a good quality of education even with the crisis, nowadays a few of our universities figure as the one pf the best in Latin America and Venezuela (La Católica does hahahaha). It is important to know what other countries are going for inside of them and that is why I'm here. See you guys again tomorrow with another article and hope you liked this one!
