Apache's at Yeovilton Airday - By Steve J Huggett
RNAS Yeovilton Airday is a great public airshow and if you're into helicopters it doesn't get any better in the UK. Just to make the displays entertaining they use pyrotechnics, which makes for some fantastic photos so long as your memory card chooses to fail just at the wrong time! I missed the big flames behind the Apache on this occasion, next time I'll get that shot :)

Too bad you missed the flame! Cool shots nonetheless. Might make for a cool B&W cropped in some?
Thanks @hornetnz Good idea with the B&W
Is like a scene from a movie, great shots :)

Thanks @pixaroma In a way it was, because they put on a battle sequence. It was pretty cool too :)
These are my favorite helicopter, though desert sand can be a bit rough for them.

Don't think desert sand is to kind to anything :)
Great shots! I love the first one in particular. It's really ominous.
Thanks @goat-girlz Yeah, you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of it that's for sure :)
Usually I like helicopter
