Car or reindeer - what do you prefer?

Nowadays almost everyone where I live own a car. But if we go 100 years back in time it was not usual. You had to travel on other ways. The most usual way in the countryside was to travel by horses. But if you lived in the arctic among the sapmi people you might travel by reinsdeer.

Here is a picture of a car and a reindeer. The picture is taken in Tromsø were I live. The reinsdeer sometimes get lost and end up in town among the cars. The animals are not afraid and you have to use your horn to make them move.

Have you thought about that we are very lucky that can drive by car everywhere. We take that for granted. For many people in the world it is still not a choice. So next time you drive a car I hope you would think about it.
