Vegan Homemade Apple Cider
Hi everyone,
This post is about making your own apple cider. It is so easier than you think. You won't need cider mother for this recipe. Before starting, I have some tips to say.
First of all, you have to choose all organic ingredients for this recipe. If there is a processed food, cider process will fail. You should not peel the apples, we need them for fermentation. You should use plastic or silicon spoon while stirring.
Ingredients:
- 1-kilogram apple
- 1 teaspoon date syrup
- 3-liter water
- 4/3 cup chickpeas
- 1 tablespoon bulgur
Instructions:
- Cut the apples in very small pieces
- Add all ingredients to the jar, and add water.
- Stir and before closing the lid, cover the jar with a cheesecloth.
Stir the cider every 2 days. After 20 days, you will see the "mother". Take her to another jar and wait for another 20 days.
Strain the cider with the cheesecloth. Ta daa your vegan apple cider is ready.
