Honestly, sometimes we just need to take a step back. I got like this a few months back, its tough. Id recommend going on a gadget-free "holiday". Take a week out, go hire a cottage in the middle of the countryside, and take a few books.

or failing that just delete the social media apps on your phone for a week. and try to be as conscious as possible of not using the websites.

Its so great. Its almost freeing, and itll revitalise you tp allow you to hit the activism even harder with a lighter, more positive energy.

I would also say, dont be afraid to not have the conversation. Try and recognise when someone is just being combative to make themselves feel better (in this case if you really want to engage just leave one comment with four or five links and just leave it at that) and then save your energy for people who are genuinely curious.
