Love the way you walked us through this! Looks like a very tasty vegan burger. Thanks for the play-by-play. I hope to see more vegan recipes like this :)

:) Thank you, I think i might go through the cook book and film some more

I often seen beans as the main ingredient for vegan burgers; do you know any ways for a high carb burger, I guess perhaps quinoa but does a structure hold into that solid shape enough without protein binding it?

When making any kind of veggie burger, important is to add a little sachet or 1 tbs of Agar Agar and let it rest in the fridge. That way, you have a firm burger that's not mushy and doesn't fall apart! Hope that helps

that's thickening agent right?

Another great alternative! Thanks for sharing. I used grounded fax seeds in a lot of my recipes as an egg substitute, but it is sooo high in fiber..well you know...so yes I will be trying the sachet or either the Agar Agar.

I would use mushrooms, cauliflower or black beans :)

hmmm, mushrooms I'd prefer. beans/veggies high protein and I do well on high carb fruitarian type diet - best digestion and energy

I always wondered how they make vegan burgers. Is it the same thing as a vegeburger? What's the main difference between the 2? Anyways, I think your post is helpful and valuable to steemit users. I upvoted and followed you scotty!!

Thanks vegan just means made with zero animal products, I'm not vegan but I think we consume way to much meat and like to limit my intake and eat more vegetables :)

veggie burgers often use egg to help bind it.. so vegan burgers are that bit harder to get right!

unless you use agar agar, that help bind them together pretty good.

Yer that is right, these seemed to stay together quite well I was worried they would just fall apart. :)

Thank you for that. I cook vegan food everyday but not burger cuz I donno how to do that ;) but thank

Awesome let me know if you manage to make them :)

Nice video! These burgers look GREAT!
You can also save the bean juice and use it as an egg substitute for baking! ;)

I heard that, thanks :)

I do love this recipe. Reminds me that I need to make a batch for us. Thanks 🐓🐓

GOOD LORDY LORD, V E G A N B U R G E R S!!!! I'm absolutely in love with any and every Vegan burger this planet has to offer! And to all of you wondering how to keep a vegan or homemade veggie burger together then simply use a tablespoon on Agar Agar powder and mix it in with the ingredients! Happy to have found your account, keep up the cool vlogging.

Thank you :)
