Vegan Outreach at MSU in Bozeman, Montana
I’m on the road again for Vegan Outreach. Last week I went to schools in Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and Minnesota.
I passed out thousands of booklets (about 5k) to college students and showed virtual reality footage to dozens more.
Many students are learning about how badly animals are being treated for the first time. A few times I was setup outside or near the school cafeteria. I heard from many students that they said they felt bad about having just eaten animals after learning about how animals are tortured, confined, mutilated and killed for food. I discussed Speciesism with the students and asked them if they think it is ok to disregard the interests of some animals (cows, chickens and pigs) while others (dogs, cats and horses) are welcomed and loved as members of the family.
Many students were interested in trying 10 weeks to Vegan. Try it yourself for free here at this link and get weekly tips to your inbox: veganoutreach.org/10w-mm
