Steem Through the Secrets of Vancouver - Part 3

in #vancouver7 years ago (edited)

Welcome to my 100 secrets of Vancouver series. This is an episode # 3. Today I would like to share a place that may easily be one of the best places in Vancouver to have a fish and chips. The place is tiny and very inconspicuous. It is located very close to Granville Island. Have a look at the map:

Go Fish is by far the best place to have fish tacos in Vancouver. There may be a 10 minutes lineup and another few minutes wait, but you will be rewarded with some amazing experience for your tastebuds. Do not expect a fine dining experience. This place is on a bike path and it is a grab-and-go style although plenty of seating is available. Once you wait for your food enjoy the  views of Granville Island marina and parts of the Yaletown.

When you finally have your fish'n'chips in hand watch out for the seagulls. They will do anything to get it from your hand. They even will pretend to be an innocent, hungry chicken. Do not let them fool you.

The menu is relatively simple and you simply cannot go wrong. Halibut, cod, fish tacos and an amazing fried oyster are highly recommended.

Have you eaten there? Do you have a Vancouver secret you want to share? Let me know....
