My Parents At Prom - Early 70s

My parents were happily entranced with each other at a young age. Here they are at prom in a very small town in southeast Tennessee. My mother is beautiful and though my father looks strange, he was a very tall rambunctious mathematical genius. His personality mirrored John Wayne and he always said: "I've had a good life. I've lived life harder than most. I've been places, seen things, and have done things most people never get to." I miss him very much. He taught me many lessons in life and it's true what they say: You never knew what you had until it's gone. My mother, widowed since last year, has had a somber Valentine's Day. But even though he's not here with us physically, he's very much here in spirit.
