Roses are Red, but is Valentine Red?
Hmmmmn, I can smell lots of love and anticipation in the air. Walking around the street corners I can see lots of beautiful shadows cast with figures of lovers locked in romance. I guess this is because today the 13th of February, 2019, is the eve of a day supposedly set aside for love.
So many questions however has been on my lips of late. Questions like is Valentines day really a day set aside for the exchange of love? Is it meant as a day to celebrate the life of St. Valentine? Are there some inner meanings of this day that is not known by so many?
It is best an enquiry is made into some of these issues that bother me. I intend to give a twist of tales tomorrow about what Valentine's day stands for.
Hmmn... Personally, I don't believe in valentine maybe because of what many people see it as.
Many people see it as a special time to show love to their partners, a time to have plenty of sex and also rededicate their love life...
Abegi! I no get boo o, but I do believe that all that has been listed above are things we are supposed to do normally to our spouse and other people we love.
There should be no set day to show love. Let it be everyday abeg
