Valentine: The red velvet cake 🎂

Valentine's day is a day love is 'officially' celebrated. Although, everyday should be a celebration of love whether with a lover or just the underprivileged and ignored people of society.

Most people use the opportunity of Valentine's day to propose. They gift their lovers flowers, chocolate 🍫 and cakes.

One of the most used cakes of Valentine's day is the red velvet cake 🎂.

I have always tried making the red velvet cake and it turned out to be just a red cake. Yesterday, I made a birthday/Valentine's day cake. And what better cake to make but a red velvet cake. Glad to report it turned out perfect.

With the right recipe, a red velvet cake can be a cake you would want to eat time and time again, but if we do that, it might loose what makes it special.

So, in this month of love, as February is known, even though the shortest month of the year, let's continue to celebrate love and eat more red velvet cake 🎂.
