It really is sickening when those who are supposed to have our best interests in mind (because we're paying them to do so), are instead perverted by others who have more money to spend. Spend, so that they can make even more by promoting disease! Sickening.
I would argue to eliminate the health care system. Do not allow insurance companies to pay doctors to pervert their morals. Do not allow licensing, which can be a barrier to entry which increases costs -- instead, promote reviews. Competing review companies, of course (a monopoly, like the government has, increases costs all around).
And if someone harms you, full restitution should be available -- i.e., also do away with "caps". (Although I understand there's fraud in all areas as well, and potential fraud should be investigated -- but, if a doctor has harmed me to tune of a million dollars, and has a hundred thousand dollar "cap", that is not acceptable and I would not wish that scenario on others either.)
The insurance companies are sucking at the teat of public health dollars mandated by Congress since 1974, when employers were first required to provide health insurance for their employees. Ever since insurance has become a larger and larger component of our taxes, and our medical services have become more about insurance companies profiting than our health.
It's time to return to spending all our health care dollars on health care, and let insurers compete in a free market. We need to end government mandated health insurance, so we can regain control of our health.

Exactly. I should be able to do whatever I want to my body; it is my property. If I have the resources to modify it and the desire to, then I should be able to.
Note that I'm not so much advocating for transgender as I think those are just broken individuals who need love, not modification -- I'm talking about things like setting a broken arm; removing a mole; drinking hydrogen peroxide; using CBD oil; etc.
Making it a crime for me to treat myself? That right there is pretty criminal!
