"Data is being manipulated for almost all medicines"
An interview with British professor of psychiatry David Healy published today by Trouw is sure to make you think twice from now on before you trust any medicine being prescribed to you by your doctor. The article is in Dutch, but I've translated and quoted some of it below. From ‘Er wordt gesjoemeld met data bij vrijwel alle medicijnen’ (March 12th 2019):
The harmful effects of almost all medicines that have been developed in the last thirty years are not well known. That is what the British professor of psychiatry David Healy states in response to the fuss in the Netherlands about painkiller oxycodone and the antidepressant seroxat.
"The information on medicines in scientific articles is currently the largest quantity of fake news in the world," says Healy.
“Every medicine is essentially harmful. That is why we limit the use of medicines to people who suffer from something harmful. We always have to balance the problems they have with their illness against the problems that the drug is likely to cause."
"We were given access to the data from one of the tests in the 1990s, study 329. On the basis of that research, it was concluded that the drug worked well in young people. Our analysis of the raw data showed that the drug did not work well, and that a large group even became suicidal. What happened here happens with practically every patented drug. Only the data that demonstrates that the medicine works, or that can be manipulated to prove it, will be published. Indications that a medicine does not work or is even dangerous are not mentioned."
"Practically all clinical experiments published in the scientific journals since the 1980s lack the data on which the article is based. The official authors have not seen that data."
"We should all no longer take medicines that have been on the market since the end of the 1980s, unless pharmacists make public the raw data of their clinical research. So that everyone can verify if they work."
David Healy is a professor of psychiatry at Bangor University in Wales. He is an expert in the field of drug side effects, and acts worldwide as a witness in court cases where suspects may have committed violence under the influence of drugs such as seroxat. On the rxisk.org website, he collects information about side effects from patients.
In a post I published just a few days ago about the dangers of vaccination I essentially discussed the same thing: they do more harm than good. The entire medical/pharmaceutical industry is corrupt as fuck.
