2018 California Dreamin

This epic trip started in Venice, CA and took us all throughout LA until we hopped on a cruise ship to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. There was way too much to see and do but here is a peak into our adventure.

I don't eat very much ramen but this place, Fukurou had some good stuff.

Headed down to Long Beach and hopped on a cruise ship. The Carnival Inspiration.

Here you go, drunks.

Departing the ship to visit Catalina Island. We had to ride a boat referred to as a "tinder". This was able to take us to one of the docks in the City of Avalon.

This poor little fellow had a diving accident nearby.

The building pictured is the Catalina Casino and it gets its name from the Italian language term casino, meaning a "gathering place". There is no gambling at the facility, we found this out after making the long walk in hopes of playing some roulette.

Don't forget the fun.

Back on the ship, enjoying fine dining. This here is escargot baked in garlic butter.

Coffee at sea. I don't think there's a better way to start a morning.

HaHa, we got a chance to see Shaq's old basketball shoe. It was on display at the Aloft Hotel in El Segundo.
