Previously this project did not yet have a logo, so I offered to design a logo for the project. And the project owner approves and accepts the logo.

Details
Home Control is an Android app to create shortcut actions for home assistant. Basically this is an android companion app to https://www.home-assistant.io/ which will integrate tightly with native android features such as shortcuts, a wearable app, quick tile toggles, and push notifications.
The user connects the their home assistant server which then allows them to create "Actions" which can then used from their in app dashboard or from launcher shortcuts.

Benefits / Improvements
This logo uses a simple and modern concept. The logo was inspired by the name of the project 'Home Control' so I took a house icon and control icon and made it a logo.
'Home' is meaningful, users can access the home assistant device. Like lights, tv and others.
And 'control' means that this app can control the home assistant device.
On the logo I use a dark gradient. This inspired the theme of the app. So that users can easily remember the logo of this app.
The colors on the control icon are red, yellow, green and blue. This means that this app can control various types of devices.
On logotype, the logo uses the fonts Azo sans and Gisha. These fonts have matches with the logo.
In the design of the launcher and notification icon, I use the Design Guidelines icon.

The elements within the control icon are not quite in alignment, as seen below, which affects the balance of the logo.
