I was looking threw steemit when i found this topic from SteemMakers. The contest is either for a logo or for a banner or both. I wil try making a banner tommorow. But i allready made 2 concepts for a logo. Yes i say concepts. As i noticed latly alot of logos that are made on steemit for diffrent people never gets used. Some are realy well made, and i find it sad to see them go to waste.

Therefore i decided to make concepts to show what it could be without investing hours upon hours on finishing it. That also means i can pull out more then one in the same time i normaly put into one. And if they desire i wil work out one of them!

The idee behind the logo's is simple. Typefont design with clean color combos. As they requested it to be easy to change the colors i kept it clean as hell.

And like i always say less is more

"QUOTE FROM: @plushzilla" your logo concepts using just the letters are nice and simple, although the contest asks for some design elements that help relate it to the makers theme as well as the blockchain idea to help enhance the brand/image. It would be good to see you incorporate or explain how your design achieves this. Thanks.

The reason why i kept it simple is to not make it clutterd. I always wonder why people ask for over complicated logo's. If you look at the world today and you look at all the logos from the big companies. Tell me wich once you remember. Think about your local garage shop (probably a logo with a car and a name and what not), your local coffee shop (probably a cup with a name) or maybe your local grocery store (a basket with a name maybe)? I don't remember any of them. Simple is the key. You want people to see something simple and know it is xxx or yyy. Thats why i do what i do. Look at big brands and there logos and you probably see what i mean. But for now here is something a bit more tools like.

We got a saw, screwdriver, wretchet (i hope i spelled this correctly)

A clean free font named Butler

Small alterations to the font to make it into one shape. It might be a bit hard to see but the top of the S and connection to the bottom of the M where altered to make it into one shape. It did not connect perfectly at all.

The curve inside of the logo to create a color combo. And a fake shadow.

The S got a diffrent color.
