Project Details

Here lies the open source version of Saiy for Android, dependent on Google Play Services, which demonstrates how a Virtual Assistant functions, from start to finish.
Saiy is a many times rebuilt version of its previous incarnation as utter! Countless attempts and therefore experience getting such an application to function on Android, has brought me to a point where I feel it's time to open source the code, for many reasons.

• This feature has two main functions. The first is to enter words or phrases that Google commonly returns incorrectly, when you were saying something different. Entering what Google should have heard as the replacement, and what it may have heard incorrectly as the phrase, will enable me to map the two together. The second function is to shorten commands that you use frequently. Let's say that you often use the command. Call my mum on her mobile. If you enter that as the replacement text, and then your chosen trigger word or keyphrase as the input, I'll be able to map the two together, and process your intended command. For more advanced usages, take a glance at the user guide.
