Suggestions to improve the app called Open Manager

Open Manager

Open manager is a file browser and manager. It not only acts as a File manager for you smart phone but it can also backup your third party applications into your SD card.

**Component-1: Recent Files and Favourites **

The application does not consist of any option to see the recently opened files which were opened using the File manager. Further it lacks the option to mark any selected file as favourite as per the users preference.

Proposal

A Option to view the recently opened files could be placed in the application. Further feature to mark selected files as favourite and an Option to view the same could be formulated.

Mockups / Examples

The suggested features would look like as highlighted in the above screenshots. 1st and 2nd Screenshots to access the recently opened files and 3rd, 4th and 5th Screenshots to mark the file as a favourite and view them later.

Benefits

User need not search for the recent opened files, instead can simply go into the option to access the recently opened files. Further the user could mark the files as Favourite inorder to access them anytime without any delay.

Component-2: Separate tabs for different type of files (Photos, Videos, Audios, Docs, Apps)

The application is not configured to have Separate tabs for different type of files for easy access.

Proposal

Separate tabs could be placed to have direct access to different type of files such as Photos, Videos, Audios, Docs, Apps. For example by selecting the Photos tab, all the photos in the SD card or Phone memory shall appear. By selecting the Videos tab, all the Videos in the SD card or Phone memory shall appear etc.

User would have the access to one type of file in a one click go which would be time saving.

The above suggestions could save time of the Users and will ease their work.
