How The Brain Controls The Body Part 1

in #utopian-io7 years ago (edited)

Introduction

The brain is the center of human control in the move, the brain also serves to determine physical health and human psychology, the brain is the most important and most important organ in our life if the brain stops working the body will die. The human brain consists of the brain stem, the limbic system, and the neocortex. Here's a simulation of parts of the brain :

In This First Part We Will Explain About The Brainstem.

Brainstem

The brain stem is the area of the brain that connects the big brain with the spinal cord. This area consists of the midbrain, medulla oblongata, and pons. Neuro motors and sensors travel through the brain stem which gives signals between the brain and the spinal cord. Most are cranial nerves found in the back of the brain

The brain stem controls the signals sent from the brain to the body. This brain region also controls the life that supports the autonomous function of the peripheral nervous system. The fourth cerebral ventricle lies in the brainstem, behind the pons and medulla oblongata. This cerebrospinal fluid-filled ventricle continues with the cerebral aqueduct and the spinal canal of the spinal cord.

Brain stem function among others is :

  1. Breathing
  2. Blood Pressure Control
  3. Digestion
  4. Alertness
  5. Arousal
  6. Other Autonomic Functions
  7. Relays Information Between the Peripheral Nerves and Spinal Cord to the Upper Parts of the Brain

In addition to functioning to connect the cerebrum and spinal cord, the brain stem also serves to connect celebrity with the cerebellum. The cerebellum is important to regulate functions such as movement, balance, equilibrium, and muscle tone. It loads above the brainstem and below the occipital lobe of the cerebral cortex, The neural pathways traveling through the brain stem send signals from the cerebellum to the regions of the cerebral cortex involved in motor control. This allows for the coordination of fine motor movement required for activities such as walking or watching television

So first for this section, we will discuss later in the next part of the brain stem structure. thank you
