I just installed the app, but it behaves very strange... it's vibrating every time I do a single step. Funny, it's like walking with a vibrator in my pocket!

This is a known issue with Android 8, you just need to go to settings and put actifit notifications on mute, and it would basically stop those beeps :)
This fixed has been already done and will be pushed on our next version update of the app.
