Project Details
Node.js, by definition, is an open-source, cross-platform JavaScript run-time environment that executes JavaScript code outside the browser. This means that now it is possible to execute a program written in JS outside a web browser such as Google Chrome, Safari, etc. This creates an extension to what the language can do, besides just creating interactive websites. With the help of the V8 JavaScript runtime engine, it can now take the code and convert it into a faster machine code, e. g., Node.js eliminates the waiting and continues to take care of the next task.
From my personal perspective, Node.js represents an advantage for the coders to write code, since it still has all the capabilities and functionalities JavaScript offers, but now in a more extended way. Also, thanks to all the time I have been contributing with this project, I have realized the huge amount of time and effort that the Node.js team has taken in order to make it as good as it is and also to improve it with every single upgrade.

- Translation Overview
This is the 44th translation I made for the Node.js project, and on this contribution I started translating the WRITING-TESTS.MD folder, which I define as follows:
-- WRITING-TESTS.MD: The intention of this folder is to give sort off a tutorial of how to write a precise test for the Node.js project. It starts by giving the definition of what exactly a test is, when to use it, how to use it, its structure and some recommendations for the writers. What I really enjoy about this contribution is that it gives its information with plenty of details, in order to inform the writers as much as they can, being very simple but at the same time very informative.
Even though the translation of this contribution was very short and simple, and no further information was needed in order to understand the context as a whole, and no complex words were used, I would like to share something I found very interesting within this translation.
First, to give some context, I will start with the definition of a Lisp Language. Lisp is a family of computer programming languages with one of the longest history, due to being the second oldest programming languages (the only oldest one is Fortran) and it distinguish itself because its fully parenthesized prefix notation.
Lisp was created in the beginning as a practical mathematical notation for computer programs, but it suddenly became the favorite programming language for artificial intelligence research. (I just found this interesting and I wanted to share it with you!)
But now that we comprehend what a Lisp Language is, let's talk about the Snake Case and the Kebab Case. Both are naming styles used in the Lisp Language and many other languages.
The Snake Case is the practice of writing compound words or phrases. The way to write them is by separating its elements with one underscore character ( _ ) and no spaces, all of the letters are usually lowercased within the compound and the first letter is either upper or lowercase, depends on the coder. An example would be "Hello _ world" or "foo _ bar" (I had to write it using spaces since it is the only way to notice the underscore, I apologize for that). The only difference with the Kebab Case is that Kebab uses scores (-) instead of underscores to divide its elements, and all its letter are lowercased. An example would be "hello-world".
Both of this casings are commonly used in computer code for variable and function names, and even sometimes for computer filenames.
This is a piece of code from a module of the Linux kernel, which utilizes Snake Case for identifiers.
