|Condenser| Favourite followers and posts
Problem
Following someone and forgetting, having to go through 50+ posts in your feed just to find the one you are looking for, not having the time to read through the post and forgetting to do so when you do. I'm sure that I'm not the only one with this problems.
A lot of the times we follow someone for a specific reason (contests, good content, sharing same interests) and then have a hard time finding them in our feed even though they post once a day. Because we all follow a lot of people it's hard to find ones we are looking for if we don't remember their name.
For example yesterday I followed a digital artist that does custom animations and now I can't find him. Nor do i remember his/hers name. This can be very frustrating.
(I know that I can go to steemdb or any other stats site like that and find who I followed, but what if followed him/her a month ago? I don't have the time to deal with this kind of problems and I'm sure you don't have too.)
Solution
Implementing favourite.
Favourite will allow you to mark a steemian or a post as your favourite and add a side note to why you favourited thus making it impossible to forget. You can also favourite posts to read them later or just to have them in your "gallery"
Here are a couple of snapshots of how I thought it could look but I'm sure someone will do it better. Especially the Favourite Users table.
Having to bookmark or comment on a post just because you are in a hurry and don't have time to finish reading it can be frustrating. A lot of the times I simply forget to go back to the post. Again I'm sure I'm not the only one here with this problem. Favouriting a post can eliminate this frustrating problem forever.
All of us have certain users we would like to see before others in our feed.
Having to navigate through the feed to find them can be frustrating. Especially when you have 500+ followers.
Browsing through feed of favourited users eliminates this problem.
Hope to see this implemented in Steemit soon as it would greatly improve our experience on the site. Tell me what you think. Have you encountered this problems before or is it just me? Do you think it's a good idea or do you have another solution to this problem?
