What is Omni Notes (Open Source)?

Omni Notes is an open-source note taking application, designed to be lightweight and simple without giving up smart behavior.

The section of this application which needs to have some modification is in the saving destination for the ready made files (notes and checklists). I had observed that even though your works had been saved, once you uninstalled the application, your works will also disappear. Not only that, when you are going to take a look at it closely, when you will be scanning your external storage, the titles of your saved works cannot be found there. Thus, it will somehow make the user of the application worry especially if the important files, memos, checklists or notes saved in the Omni Notes will be lost once you uninstall the application or once it will be corrupted.

Proposal

So from the given situation above, the title of this contribution suggests that the developers of Omni Notes should add a Feature that Saves the Notes, Memos and Checklists to an External File Format. Meaning those works made by the user of the application can be found in an external storage (SD Card). If possible, it could also be found in the internal storage (Phone Storage). In other words, the developers must have to add " SAVE TO.... External or Internal Storage Feature ". In order to make this suggestion possible, the Omni Notes developers should make some enhancement on their application from which this suggestion will be included and so as to be implemented. To make this suggestion easier to interpret, the author of this contribution post provided the current format as well as his suggested format.

Benefits

1. The users of the application will have the assurance that their files (notes, checklists and memos) are safe and has been successfully backed up in the internal or external storage.
2. New feature wherein there will be an external file format for the Omni Notes files. Thus, making it suitable for the needs of the users of the application and avoids the cause of any trouble or negative point of view and comments for the application.
3. The number of users of the said android application will increase thus making it reliable, efficient and useful.
4. This new feature will be beneficial to both the managements and its users in the sense that both of them will be able to have enhancements and developments. New development in the feature of Omni Notes (Android Open Source App) since it will be a new milestone to be achieved by the developers.
