YouTube Steemit Ambassador Winner #2 and Week #3 details
Last week we gave away 100 Whaleshares to @davidpakman for promoting Steemit with his Youtube video. How did he win this? Simple really, he just produced and published a video about Steemit and promoted it on his Youtube channel.
The stats for the first weeks Steemit Youtube Ambassador were very impressive. 136 videos were produced by 106 channels with a combined reach of 14,449 viewers.
To get this data I connected Youtube Data using their API to find the top videos for Steemit for that week. Taking the same approach as last week, I again connected to the Youtube API and I pulled data for videos using Steemit as the key word search. For week #2 contest I have pulled videos published between 3rd and 9th December

Awesome work again this week. 121 channels produced 192 videos where the Youtube API identified Steemit as a key word. That’s a 38% increase in the number of videos published over the previous week with an additional 15 Youtubers promoting Steemit

Has your video not showed up in this analysis? Then you need to work on your SEO. Here are some tips for using a key word
- Ensure the keyword is included in the title
- Use the keyword 2-3 times in the description
- Use related and long tail key words in the description
- Set up a playlist with this keyword
- Add a link to the playlist in the description of the video

How to get involved and Collect winnings
Every week I will run a query to the Youtube API to pull all the videos published the previous week with ‘Steemit’ as a key word. There are three factors which will be used to score the videos
- Engagement via the number of comments
- Reach – by checking the video view count
- Sentiment – by watching the videos and reading the comments
To enter the contest and win 100 Whaleshares all you have to do is post a video on Youtube that promotes Steemit in a positive way. All videos that appear in the API search result will be eligible to win.
I will contact the winners on Youtube and on Steemit, along with an announcement post here on steemit.

I was going to flag your comment, but I decided to let it go. I will reply instead.
Sadly there are a bunch of trolls who followed me from YouTube.
I was being flooded by down votes on literally everything I did.
So I made more accounts to fight the down voting. There was nobody to help me.
I have an account for each of my YouTube channels.
Now the trolls spread out their down votes across my channels, reducing their ability to harm me.
And they cry all the time about how "unfair" it is when I try to stay on steemit and write my articles.
Meanwhile my blogs suffer due to all the filth they write about me.
I am sorry they brought this here.

Now, you are TRYING to make excuses for making 3 other FREE steemit accounts! You have a community problem that anyone who reads can see who the problem really is. Circumventing the etiquette created on steemit just because you are a crybaby is NO EXCUSE and just PROVES that YOU are the problem! You should have paid for those!
Ever step back and wonder what these "trolls" are so upset about? What you did on steemit is the perfect example. You are a cheater, you have a huge problem with authority of any kind and you are not a nice person. I have asked simple questions about your chickens and you have flagged my comments. According to your so-called "trolls" they say you have been doing this for YEARS.
I happen to love chickens which is how I came across you to begin with. You abuse chickens with raising your cornish hens well beyond their dispatch dates, they can't walk, you had a dead chicken in a small pen packed too full of chickens! Don't tell me almost 700 people are all wrong!

It's your definition of "harassment" and "filth" combined with your polarizing and offensive nature that is the issue. Add in the willful incompetence that is displayed in your videos and that sums things up nicely. You can try to bait me with your old standard song and dance but it's not working.
